These retreats are open to everyone regardless of meditation experience.

Mindfulness and meditation practices cultivate foundations that are essential for maintaining peace and stability in the face of life’s stressful challenges.

·  Teachings on Living a Mindful Life - how it effects our brain, body, mind and emotions

·  Meditation Instruction – techniques designed to still the mind and open the heart

·  Discussion and Reflection – how mindfulness practice can lead to more confidence, joy and love

·  Nature Meditation – outdoor practice in our beautiful country setting (weather permitting)

If you have meditation experience, the retreat will enable you to refine and deepen your practice. If you are new to meditation, you will learn practical techniques you can use right away.

6.5 contact hours available for Maine LCPC’s and LCSW’s.

Participants will bring their own lunch for this training or plan to eat in one of our nearby local restaurants.

October 19 at 7pm to October 21 at 3pm. $200 non-residential. $285 for residential.

·      Sitting and walking practice in nature

·      The art of slowing down through gentle yoga

Lunches provided. Residential retreatants will be responsible for their dinners and breakfasts with use of our full kitchen

In this seminar, we will explore boundary, confidentiality and other issues raised by the proliferation of social media, e-mails and the increased use of the internet generally. We will review extensive new code provisions that apply to this area.  We will also discuss practical approaches to the ethical issues that arise in your practice.
