This retreat is open to everyone regardless of meditation experience.
Mindfulness and meditation practices cultivate foundations that are essential for maintaining peace and stability in the face of life’s stressful challenges.
· Teachings on Living a Mindful Life - how it effects our brain, body, mind and emotions
· Meditation Instruction – cultivate three essential foundations for less stress and more happiness
· Discussion and Reflection – how mindfulness practice can lead to more confidence, joy and love
· Nature Meditation – outdoor practice in our beautiful country setting (weather permitting)
If you have meditation experience, the retreat will enable you to refine and deepen your practice. If you are new to meditation, you will learn practical techniques you can use right away.
This one-day retreat is a combination of meditation instruction with periods of meditation practice. Skills that help bring mindful awareness into daily living are presented. Rebecca Wing’s approach is based on personal growth surrounding identification of old difficult habitual patterns that we can become aware of through mindfulness. Another big part of the day surrounds setting intentions of kindness and compassion towards self and others. A period of gentle yoga is frequently brought into the day.
Tea and snacks provided. Participants will bring their own lunch for this training or plan to eat in one of our nearby local restaurants.
