·     Designed for those with previous meditation experience

·     Learn Sky-Like Mind practice

·     Settle into periods of group silence during the day

·     Extended meditation sessions and gentle yoga

·     Outdoor nature meditation (weather permitting)

This one-day retreat is a combination of meditation instruction with periods of meditation practice. Skills that help bring mindful awareness into daily living are presented. Rebecca Wing’s approach is based on personal growth surrounding identification of old difficult habitual patterns that we can become aware of through mindfulness. Another big part of the day surrounds setting intentions of kindness and compassion towards self and others. A period of gentle yoga is also part of the day.

Coffee/Tea and snacks provided. Participants will bring their lunch or eat at one of our nearby restaurants.

While facing the rigors of life we can learn to settle ourselves and reset intention for awakening to the beauty that surrounds us. Explore how to get “unstuck” from over focus on negativities and awaken to the wonders of life that are available in each moment.

·  Guided meditation practices for establishing contentment and ease in mind and body

·  Teachings on “Letting Go” practice and the cultivation of gentle awareness to self and other

·  Discussion and reflection – benefits of mindfulness during the holidays

·  Gentle yoga and outdoor nature meditation (weather permitting)

Rebecca will be leading meditations designed to settle the nervous system. We will explore the skill of setting intention for upcoming events and the steps that strengthen intention over time. This will be a good retreat to prepare for the holidays!

This is a day of experiential training in sand tray therapy. There will be enough trays for everyone to experience meditative presence in this transformative approach to meaning making in the sand. We will be sitting in meditation, doing sand tray scenes with a partner, and exploring the importance of symbols in therapy for ourselves and our clients.

  • Helping a client identify unconscious belief systems that drive distorted thinking

  • The top ten core negative beliefs and how they show up in daily living

  • Meditation/Mindfulness skills for settling the nervous system to avoid knee jerk reactions

  • The neuroscience of memory and how to explain it to a client

Clients who are locked in a pattern of unhealthy relationships bring unconscious negative beliefs from childhood into their adult lives. This training will guide you through the process of helping a client identify core negative beliefs which can then lead to development of more conscious healthy intentions towards self and others.

You’ll leave this training feeling rejuvenated and with specific tools to motivate clients to practice

This workshop will not stress you out. Join your colleagues for a relaxed discussion that will ease your mind about ethical issues.

There are important revisions to the relevant codes that you should know about. We will review the revisions, discuss difficult issues that lead to complaints by clients and use the issues arising in your practice to identify ethical issues, examine the sets of values that affect decision-making and discuss practical approaches to the resolution of frequently arising ethical questions.
